Annual Fund Drive

The South Glastonbury Public Library Association receives an annual grant from the Town of Glastonbury, but the majority of support comes from community members during our annual fund drive. We also receive funding from service clubs, foundations, memorials, and other grants.

Annual fund drive letters are sent out each April. Donations are welcome at any time. Please send your donation to South Glastonbury Public Library, PO Box 169, South Glastonbury, CT 06073. As a 501C3 organization, the library is eligible for matching funds from businesses.

Book Donations

To raise funds to purchase the latest books for our library, we have regular used books sales. We rely on your donations. Stop by anytime during open library hours throughout the year to drop off new or gently used books.

Volunteer with us!

The South Glastonbury Public Library has always been managed and operated by volunteers, using funds that are raised by the Board of Directors and volunteers. The Association owns and maintains the building and property at 80 High Street. There are no paid employees.
